Thin Crust Pizza

Okay, now don't tell me you don't love pizza... but I know many people think that they can't eat it and still be healthy. NO TRUE!!
.

As in anything, you can do moderation and be okay BUT if "you want your pizza and to eat it too" so to speak, try THIS pizza. It is not only yummy, easy and kid approved but you can actually LET your kids make their own pizzas.
.
So to start....

Pick a base: either a sprouted tortilla like we did our a whole grain flour tortilla.
We then "toasted" up our crust in the oven for about 4 minutes at 400*.

While the crust was getting toasty, we whipped up a base sauce.

1 15 oz can of organic tomato sauce
1 6 oz can of organic tomato paste
1 tsp of oregano
1 tsp of Italian seasoning
1 tsp of garlic powder
1 tsp of onion powder
dash of pink Himalayan salt

When done mixing the sauce, pull out the tortilla crust and put about a tablespoon worth of sauce on your pizza.

Now is the fun part... you get to PICK toppings. You can either choose what your kids get to put on their pizzas or you can have a pizza bar with multiple toppings out. We chose chicken meatballs and black olives chopped up. I did 2 meatballs per pizza and about 1 tablespoon of olives.

After evenly putting toppings on our pizza, I shredded some cheese from our cheese block... it melts better when you grate from the block and doesn't have the keep fresh preservatives.

I used about 1 1/2 tablespoons of freshly grated cheese on each pizza.

Then bake at 400* for another 4-6 minutes...watch your crust so that it doesn't burn.

Now enjoy!!!
